Company research could not reach my website

Section titled “Company research could not reach my website”

Check the URL for a typo or redirect problem. You can continue onboarding with a written company description, then correct the company website in Settings → Workspace & Company.

Initial research can continue in the background after you leave the setup screen. Check Comparisons again shortly. If generation failed, use its retry action.

A comparison also needs a competitor with at least one successfully fetched source. Check source health in Sources or edit the competitor in Settings.

A homepage rarely establishes every comparison area. In Comparisons, choose Edit sources to search for more evidence or add a specific pricing, product, documentation, release-note, or positioning page.

Also review your own company context and website in Settings so Dossyr can cite your side of the comparison.

A newly added source initially has only a baseline. Dossyr needs a later stored version with a material change before it can produce a change finding.

In Sources, check whether the page is due, whether its last fetch succeeded, and whether the latest result was unchanged or boilerplate-only.

Open its citation and inspect the stored-page evidence. Do not rely on the finding if its quote does not establish the claim. Use Send feedback in the app to report it as incorrect or confusing.

Some sites block automated requests or render important content only after client-side scripts run. Confirm the URL is public and direct, then try another canonical page from the same domain. Source health and error details are available in Sources and Settings.

Use Send feedback inside Dossyr, reply to your invitation email, or schedule a feedback conversation. Do not include passwords or other credentials.
