How Dossyr works

Dossyr separates the evidence it reads from the conclusions it presents. That makes it easier to check a claim before you put it into a battlecard, brief, or sales conversation.

A comparison places your company’s claims beside a competitor’s across the areas supported by the available sources. During setup, Dossyr can search for useful public pages before generating the first comparison.

A thin source set produces a thin comparison. In Comparisons, use Edit sources to look for more pages or add a specific page yourself. Keep your own company context and website current in Settings so both sides can be cited.

A source is a public page attached to a competitor or your own company. Dossyr fetches the page and stores a version of what it read.

The first successful fetch establishes a baseline. A later fetch can then be compared with that baseline. In Sources, you can review:

  • Active monitored pages
  • Fetch health and the next eligible run
  • Whether a check found no change, boilerplate-only change, or material change
  • Snapshot differences when more than one version exists

A signal is an individual finding produced from a material page change. It includes the competitor, the claim, and source evidence that can be opened and checked.

Dossyr may show no signal when a page is unchanged, when the change is only boilerplate, or when the available quote does not adequately support a claim.

The Digest organizes qualifying evidence into periodic synthesis. Quiet periods can intentionally have no report when no material competitor changes were found.

Treat the synthesis as an interpretation of the cited evidence—not proof of a competitor’s broader strategy or intent.

Dossyr checks active sources on their configured schedules. You can also use Run all due in Sources when one or more pages are eligible for a check.
